i'm a newbie
Please can someone advise on my motorhome I have been told that the bulkhead gas regulator needs to be changed every 10 years is this correct
 
Not heard of that banded about before. If it’s working fine I would leave it alone.
If it ain’t broke why fix it 🤭
Many don’t last 10 years due to clogging of goo from the gas.

Never heard that, is it someone who sells regulators who told you. :whistle2: :wink:

The pigtails are recommended to be changed every 6 year (think thats right). You will find they are stamped with a date.

Thanks for your reply’s there is a date on the regulator 02/11 I know the pigtails have to be changed here in Spain I think it’s 5 years My brother has had an habitation done and was told by the engineer have to be changed every 10 years

I would ask the hab check person, why it requires changing And to show you who states this requirement.
It may be a recommendation by some supplier but that is likely to be it.

If its working ok ,why change it. Its just changing for changing sake.
