Hi - Bought my bus/motorhome conversion last year. Been quietly updating and upgrading for a big adventure starting soon. Now the issue - every company I approach will not do a gas check because there is no certificate from whoever installed it, even though it's been installed very well and everything seems to work grand, for peace of mind I want a check done, would even consider upgrading. Any advice or recommendations welcome

Try talking to boat yards/marinas. My mate does Gas work on boats and has the same/correct tickets for Mohos and caravans

Most so called gas engineers in the leisure industry won’t touch self built vans .
We are just in the process of introducing new rules / guidelines for our customers as we are seeing some seriously bad installations coming through the workshop now .
We have always tried to help the self builders and offer a free check on tank kits they have purchased from us .
Unfortunately now very often we end up trying to rectify multiple faults / leaks .
If what we see is indicative of the general standards on self built vans ,then it’s only a matter of time before a serious accident occurs .
