The 240v distribution box will usually be located fairly close to where the hookup cable plugs into the van*. Maybe in a cupboard/wardrobe or under a seat. It looks very much like a household item and provided you are hooked up to a 240v supply will probably have a red light showing. You can test it by pressing the test button which should cause it to switch off. Then just reset the switches to on. If you are not hooked up, or the incoming supply has failed for some reason, the 240v sockets will not work (unless there has been some serious modifications including an inverter).
If this is okay, try and trace the cables at the back of the plugs - I unknowingly managed to catch one whilst shoving stuff under a seat and partially disconnected a connector plug which in turn took out all the other sockets on the ring. Took a motorhome "technician" 3 days to find that!
That's as far as my knowledge of electrickery goes - then it's over to the "experts".
*Edit - I've seen later vans with the distribution box near the main control panel/battery charger in an upper locker, but it still looks the same.
