Funster CLs

We now have a New Funster CL Melanie Cross Sir Walter Tyrrell Public House Canterton Lane, Brook Lyndhurst Hampshire SO43 7HD Thing brings the number to four, the other three... Mo & Judy WESTON CROFT NEWPORT ROAD. , HAUGHTON, STAFFORDSHIRE ST18 9JH Jim and Siân Jasmin Lodge Crabtree Lane...

Jim with the likely demand for pitches in the UK to be high this year it would be really nice if we could make it easier for members to find info on the Fun Cls & make more use of them.

Could you do something like create another section in Best Campsites section & a heading of Funster Cls & move the above thread to it please?

Are all the CL owners members? They could then post their own thread with contact info, photos, local stuff etc??? I know Quackers promotes his CL but it'd be much easier if there was a dedicated section???

It seems a shame that we don't promote them more.

That's a good idea .. as someone who still struggles to find her way around the internet, it would be a great help. :)
 
Its an extremely good idea and I have missed Quackers advertising but have now noted it very well and fully expect to use it

Maybe he has other things keeping him busy busy at the mo.

Indeed... but it has been mentioned several times over a period of time.

It would be good if they were on a seperate button on the blue bar at the top.

I know its been mentioned on various posts a few times & I know Jim is busy, so I'm not sure if he's ever really seen the comments. That's why I started this thread in the feedback section.

If CL owners have paid out for insurance etc I think it'd be nice if we could support them a bit more.

It's not a database as such is it, I think its just that list? It would be good for the CL owners to be able to post threads of their own. It wouldn't need any other input from Jim once a CL section was created.

Hoping Jim will have a look & see what he thinks if its doable.
 
As an option, maybe a stoopit one, could a Funster create a "database" in the Resources section, get it populated with the requisite detail and it then could be maintained by the Funster community \ CL owners?:unsure:

Jim thanks for all your efforts it is appreciated. Even a basic list with website links would help a few Funsters to find a friendly CL site. And some of the larger sites can be a little intimidating to new owners.
