Last night and tonight I have been out as usual to chase the pigeons away and couldn't believe how bright it was. It seemed almost like daylight.
I have never seen it so bright.

Never heard of a snow moon, off to look it up.

Is snow moon and hunger moon same as bombers moon then?
No. 🤪
This site had the biggest list of main & alternative names that I’d seen and no bombers 🤔

How often does a full moon straddle 2 evenings?
I was taking pics ~8:30pm on Friday.
But early Saturday eve it was still “full moon” by traditional views.
I noticed by midnight a chunk was missing though.

Our Feb snow moon peak info:
The Moon will reach peak illumination at about 8.17am GMT on Saturday, February 27, after it has already set for the day.
I read that the full moon phase lasts 3 days 😳
Odd that I’ve only in the last 24hr’s had people writing about a full moon a day after one 🤔👀

It was amazing to watch at 5am this morning here. Not a cloud in the sky and so bright, watched it for a while.

To cold to get me out of bed and grab my camera though

Just to compare to my midnight observation, by 5am it was past full though, right?

Is it waxing or waining? I always mixup those 2 stages. 🤔
One is the end of full moon the other the prior stage but which?
