Anyone used the above to get E&P Levellers or VB Full Air fitted? Any feedback if you have please?

They fitted both, at different times, to our Carthago.
Excellent to deal with and nice people.
Although not well known in motorhome circles they do a lot of work on ambulances from all over the south of England. Most ambulances have air suspension so they are well used to dealing with it.

Richard.

Cheers Clarky they do seem to have a good price for the VB Air compared to others...
Do you find the VB Air makes a difference?

Definitely!
It's not a 'magic carpet' ride, it never will be with hard commercial tyres, but it’s much better than before. We used to get a lot of 'crashing' from the front suspension when hitting pot holes and bumps. That is entirely eliminated. The ride can be a bit 'floaty' sometimes when going over an undulating surface and it felt odd at first but now we hardly notice it.
Straight line stability is better, particularly when in cross winds or passing trucks.
If you intend keeping the van for a while it’s a good investment.

Cheers. From what he said its air bags on the back and some different shock absorbers on the front is that what you have? Said he has 2 or 3 E&P systems a week for the next few weeks.

Ours is full air all round. Air bags front and rear and linked in with the E&P levelling jacks.
Sounds like you've been quoted for semi air, perhaps that’s why it seemed a better price.
I think the prices are usually much the same for VB and E&P wherever you go. You might get a bit off or an optional extra thrown in but because there’s only a handful of dealers across the country they all charge about the same.
Think you might need to check the spec for what has been quoted.

Thats what I thought but he quoted one price for semi air and a second for full air but full air was just changed shocks at the front so I think its not the same as yours.

They fitted VB air assist to the rear of our MH about 18months ago. found them very good to deal with. excellent communications throughout. Apparently a lot of fellow funsters think I paid over the odds. attached is my invoice.

Hanks for the information. It's got your personal details on think you should remove it?

The front is air bags plus front suspension legs, presumably including shocks.
I’m not a mechanic but it’s completely new suspension all round I think.

We had our E&P levelling system serviced and an oil leak repaired by them , very professional and helpful explained everything and why they were doing it , would recommend them

I think by front shock absorbers, he must be referring to the struts. There are no separate shock absorbers as such, but you can get different inserts for the struts. You need to get him to clarify I think.

Hi I had vb air fitted by them to my Autosleeper Burford rear, but after they fitted it they found it didn’t work as the Mercedes chassis had composite rear springs so they had to take it off again before I collected it.VB does not make a air suspension for that chassis and they did not know of any alternative.A very nice bunch of chaps to work with though explained everything about what they had done to me in detail.

What sort of money is semi or full air suspension. Not self levellers can live without them. A class on ducato light chassis
