Full Air Suspension on a Tag Axle… Is It Worth It?

It’s a 2019 Fiat Alko, currently plated at 5000kg.

The ride’s not too bad anyway. Tyre pressures set at about 55psi all-round.

Mixed thoughts about whether it’s worth the 8k or 9k price tag.

Any thoughts from the team would be appreciated.

Tags are good at the rear anyway, I wouldn't bother. Unless I was loaded and money was no issue.

You may be right. I think my pressures are a little higher than Carthago recommend. The sticker inside the fuel cap suggests 3 bar (45psi) for axle weights of 1730kgs. As the rears are plated at 1600kgs (and are well within the limit when weighed), it may be worth lowering them a little, although 45 seems a bit too low. Perhaps worth a try.
