Just fuelled up, non autoroute, and price was equivalent of £1.55 per litre for diesel happy day's.

Your very lucky, we're in Northern Norway and average is around €2.49 per litre and it is pi**ing down 12-14° has been for the last two days and forecast says for at least next week.

Not that far up yet, just below Lofoten islands at moment, depends on weather as the wet is really getting us down, if the weather changes then yes.
If not maybe Benidorm is a good idea if Hell freezes over (the one near Trondheim)

You sort of expect cold going North but constant heavy rain does get on your t*ts.
Trouble is along with rain is low cloud and mist spoils views etc.
