Looking at renewing our FT insurance and the renewal quote is 35% higher this year.
As we pay a four figure sum this is quite a dent on the bank which I am sure we could find something better to spend it on.
As we are all tied to just one insurer I have had 3 quotes now from different brokers but 2 are quoting similar figures and the third is out of the park.

Has anyone else seen this sort of increase or know of any new insurers that will cover full timers?

Who are you insured with, we have in the recent past had fulltiming insurance and it was never over £800 with UK/EU breakdown cover???

That sounds like a better price but even less than we paid last year.
The policy is with Aviva through one of the three recognised brokers we use, all are named on this forum.
Ours is unlimited European travel and breakdown as well, does that make a difference?

Sounds like it is with who we were with, Comfort?? There are so many variables when it comes to working out a price, unfortunately there aren't that many companies who do fulltiming insurance. I think AIB do it we have never used them so not sure. Good luck....

I am with AIB now and have a quote from Comfort and Adrian Flux.
All Aviva policies but the price differential is extraordinary between them.

So which is cheapest and most expensive. Bearing in mind cheapest is not always best value

1. AIB
2. Comfort
3. Adrian Flux

all quoting on a very similar basis of fully comp, incl unlimited European cover, breakdown, incl Europe, same excess etc.

I spoke to NFU last year and was told they don’t cover full timers.
Their loss!
Ah they used to years ago oh well
