Front page layout

How do people like the latest front page layout ?
I preferred the previous one, the "What's happening on the forums" column is now very long and narrow which means I have to scroll down quite a lot to see all the recent posts.. maybe this is just on my Safari browser ?

Its an optical illusion Jim. I have just changed it to two columns and I can still see only 17 posts before having to scroll, just the same as three columns. Because its narrower it looks longer but its not

maybe I need new varifocals

Jim is it easy to change your resolution on the mac, it looks a bit clunky to me!

just looked at mine and it said 9 new posts so i clicked on the 9 and it displayed 5 posts to read so i read them, came out of that page and my number went to 10 hows that work then

My screen looks very similar to Suzy's. On laptops, the max screen resolution is almost always a lot less than can be achieved on destop PCs.

Please, please, please, move the "members Online" "Stats" and "Calendar" into the same column as the notice board to give those of us with smaller dispalys a more readable site.
