Our Fridge seems to be playing up as the freezer is iced up and working fine but the fridge isn’t as cold as it usually gets. I’ve had it on electric but now trying it on gas to see if it works better. I have taken the grill off outside and the pipe that coils up the back of the fridge seems to be hot/warm at the bottom and top but cool in the middle! Strange. Any info much appreciated 👍🏻

You really need to de ice the freezer section, this will help the fridge part cool down.

If the fridge isn't getting that cold I suspect the freezer isn't either, have you checked the temperature of the freezer?
There is only one cooling circuit the freezer only gets colder than the fridge due to having the same size fin radiator in 20% of the area.
What sometimes happens is the heat transfer paste between the pipe and fins drys out and needs replacing. Unlikely to be that if it's suddenly stopped working.
Any smell of ammonia as that would indicate a refrigerant leak.

The freezer is freezing ice quickly no problem,so pretty cold. I have recently cleaned the gas burner and flue as it was made up with sut. This is the first outing since. I’ve got it on gas now and the burner is a loverly strong blue flame. I think it’s starting to cool better now already.

Should I just leave the freezer door open for a while?

From your photo you could try turning the control down a bit. Having it on full doesnt actually make it colder. Ours seems most efficient with the control at about 5 o'clock

We usually scrape off any excess ice etc first with a plastic scraper, with a shallow tray on the freezer base to catch the ice etc and yes, leave the door open. Don't like to leave the door open too long.

Ditto the control at the 5 o'clock we find having a freezer block or 2 in the freezer helps the whole lot work a bit better and a fan on the top vent outside also.
Our freezer has never iced up.
