I have 2012 Chausson and the fridge does not work on 12v when engine is running. Could there be a relay that has stopped working? If so, any idea where it is.

Does the fridge have a separate fuse ? And do you select 12v or does it auto select when you turn the engine on ?

It has manual selection between gas, mains and 12v. Not sure about a fuse but I will look to see if there is one. Would it be behind the fridge or near the electric controls?

Our Ducato based 2010 Burstner has a 20A blade fuse on the positive terminal of the Cab Battery which powers the 12v on the Dometic FF.

Had a cab battery replaced in Spain and the fitter managed to dislodge the blade fuse. Took me 3 days to figure out why the Fridge wasn't working on 12v.

Good Luck.

You a meter to check you have 12v on the element terminals of the fridge with the engine runing, if so most likely the element has failed. You can check the element by disconnecting it and measuring it's resistance it should be around 1 ohm.

The fridge relay, which controls the 12V power to the fridge 12V heater element, is usually built into the distribution/fusebox. What make/model of distribution box is it?

We had the same problem in our 2019 Adria Matrix. Fixed under warranty. It was an electronic circuit board.
