Not sure if this is normal for motorhome fridge but it ices up quite easily. I defrosted it about 2 weeks ago and now it's like this. Temp about 3 on shelf by fins and 7 at the bottom fridge on 2 out of 5. I did have have the fridge on 3 but it was under 1 degree near the fins and 4 at the bottom.

You might want to check the door seal but I don't think it's that unusual. There is usually a small drain beneath the fins to catch any defrosted run off.
Unless it gets substantially more ice collecting I don't think I'd worry too much.
Caveat : I'm not a refrigeration expert so I could be completely wrong

It could be the thermistor going faulty.
It's the little black thing in your picture clipped to the fins... very cheap and easy to replace.

If you remove the lower vent you will find the drain into a small plastic container which in my experience is always overflowing. I extended the pipe to drain to below the van.

+1 On our van the overflow used to find its way down into a drawer underneath if it was humid. Well worth extending the pipe.

Fridge is virtually new but we'll try this if it gets too bad. I just don't know what's normal in a van fridge.
