Fridge door vacuum

Do any of you find that when you close the fridge door that you have to give a really firm press to create the vacuum seal on the door ?

Do any of you find that when you close the fridge door that you have to give a really firm press to create the vacuum seal on the door ?

If you have an absorption fridge then the door sealing relies on the magnetic strip in the seal getting a good grasp on the front face of the fridge.
On all the absorption fridges we have had have, there is a moisture vent to a tray in the outer back of the fridge, so it's not possible for a vacuum within the fridge
