Yesterday my wife told me she could not close the fridge door.
We have a two part fridge/freezer from Dometic which has been switched off, with the doors open for the last few weeks. When yesterday my wife wanted to turn the unit on, she found the door would not close. After inspection, I discovered that the door seemed to have risen up enough to foul the fixed door catch. Pressing the door down allowed it to close, which in hindsight I now think that the door may have expanded in yesterdays exceptional heat, without the benefit of the cool air inside to prevent this.
As this was the only solution I could come up with, I wondered if anyone else had this experience and if so, what was their solution.
