Swift Suntor 590RL
I have recently bought a Swift Suntor 590RL of 2006 vintage.

There is a drain valve to drain off the waste water tank but I have been unable to find a drain valve to drain the freshwater holding tank.

At present at the end of a trip I am having to use the sink and basin taps to drain the freshwater into the waste tank and then drain from there.

Is this normal ?

Have you checked inside the tank itself for a plug?

Try removing the top off the fresh water tank and you might find it has a drain plug in the bottom of the tank.
Hope this works!!👍

I haven"t found a way to access the tank at all ?

Mine had a sink type plug in the drain outlet. This was only accessible by removing the big screw off cap on the top of the tank and reaching in to pull it out. Once this was removed I can just unscrew the cap off the bottom drain and empty this way. The sink type plug is now on the work bench in my garage and will be staying there.

I can"t find any way to access the tank.
It appears to be completely boxed in.
I can"t even see any of the tank.

Found this elsewhere,

Hi on my 2004 590rs the fresh water tank is under the front seat at the dining table position. Remove cushions lift lid unscrew black cap put hand in tank and remove rubber plug. I sometimes fill through here in stead of getting hose out.

Mine is an RL not RS.
The filler is to the left of the gas locker cupboard but there is a solid "wall" between the gas locker and where I assume the freshwater tank to be.

They did a lot of testing/changes 06/07 in prep for the new model
I've seen fresh tanks underneath and one which had the access under the drawers in the lounge

You could always overfill the tank then see where the overflow is then your know for sure where the tank is.

Thanks for all the advice, I have found the tank (y)
It is in the rear corner under the sofa.
Lift the sofa base, lift the slats it sits on and what I thought was a full length piece of ply actually has a joint in it, directly under a slat hence me not noticing it.
Lift that section of ply and you have access to the top of the tank where there is a large plastic screw cap about 5" diameter and in the base of the tank is a rubber bung.
It looks like the outlet is about an inch or inch and a quarter with a short "stub" protruding from the base of the tank about an inch.
If I can get a pipe onto the stub I can run it to a valve underneath and dispense with the rubber bung and empty the tank via the valve same as the waste tank.
Thanks again.
