French campsites - extended season ?? (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone, as a result of Covid does anyone know if campsites (French in particular) are likely to be operating a longer season this year ? We were hoping to get over to Brittany early September but now looking like late October when things are normally wrapped up. There’s always the aires but we prefer to mix it up with campsites.

I'm hoping so as we are heading to the west coast for most of september.

Maybe this might give some the incentive to actually stay open past 30th september & if demand is good they might have a longer season for the future?

In the past we have used quite a lot of the Camping-Car Park aires and may well make more use of them this coming trip. They are usually in locations we like, the network has grown considerably, the prices are not high and they are normally open all year.
