Do we lose this concession from 1st February 2020 does anyone know as we cease to be EU citizens?

Nothing changes until the end of the transition period IIRC.

I hope you don't lose out if you do go there.

The Blue Badge we use to park is supposedly to continue to be accepted so I can see no reason to loose this free travel concession for elder people - unless it was SPECIFICALLY for EU Citizens

Yes it was Hungarian and EU members AFAIK

We go to Budapest regularly and don't fancy falling foul of their laws but the travel concession has been a great bonus.

And while we are still in the EU show your passport for free entry to the magnificent houses of parliament, not to be missed on a visit to Budapest.

We will be in Budapest for a 4 day break in a couple of weeks, do you have any more useful tips on must see places to visit?

That will be within the next two weeks then.

The big spa complex up by the Zoo is worth a visit, the stations on the original underground line are quite amazing.
And you have just got to have a meal in Fatal's in the old town, traditional cellar restaurant, looking at their website it's been poshed up since we were there. Then it was bare tables and tressels. I think it gets it's name from the size of the portions, order the roast port and you get a leg of pork as my wife found out.

We always take the red bus tour when visiting a city for the first time.
Great spas if you like them and area in the centre near the river is great .
We were not really impressed by the house of terror.
Where are you staying?
