My Bessacar 410 has the double electric step and had planned to use the wide black double step sold in most dealerships but due to mobility issues it would help to have about an extra 3 inches of height on them but cant seem to find any, do they exist or are there alternate was to ease the entrance steps?

So far only ever seen single and double steps - recently seen fold up double steps in metal

the only real mobility assistance I've seen is a side lift to the Hab door similar to tailgate hoists but stored under the side of the motorhome

Yes same for me have an electric step. Bit of a drop as you step out the van down the steps, wouldn't be a problem but after having a knee replacement :X3: knee gets inflamed after few times in and out the van, have free standing ones at the minute, but still looking? Someone mentioned when they purchased the steps with handrail. Kept hitting their door, lots of research and measuring, or adapt ones to suit your needs. Good luck

If you Google "Portable steps" there are several triple steps available.
I have some that were used when we had a shop. They also fold flat.

Thanks sounds good wi!! Have a look tomorrow (y)

Have had a look as you suggested but almost all seem to be sold as ‘pet stair’ and I imagine are too lightweight for a human. Might be wrong but thank you as we have a new direction to search

Im sure someone near you could make something to your specs, wouldn't be much trouble to someone who knows their way around a welder.

Found this on ebay, any use?

In my case, I will get back up to ( zebedde) 're measure the height, friend of ours adjusted a set we got from ebay, but because they quite heavy, was looking for a lighter or fold up option ( great to have lots of feedback  (y)

Hi Suzy hubby just came across place called -Workplace stuff. On their website put in heavy duty moulded plastic safety steps, contact number 01278 783322. I am going to give them a call tomorrow, aNy to know the weight of the 3 tier step..Hope this may help

We had a free standing step, or rather about 4 of them. It's too easy to drive off and forget to put the step inside. I solved it by having a notice which I left on the drivers seat. "Don't forget the step you idiot."

If payload and space are not an issue, find a local carpenter who could design and make you a custom set.

Or even a local metalworker.

Looking at the three step set above I was wondering if you are a solo traveller;

Once you're in how do you handle the steps outside of you are about to depart?

And the reverse, if you've arrived and wanted to dismount?

Sue uses an Autochair Milford hoist to lft her into the passenger seat. We bought ours on Ebay for £350.

Hi in my case, it's just my knee that gets inflamed, friends did do some adaptions..nothing mechanica l needed( thankfully) we have a electric step in the hymer, but the step down is little too steep, once we can get up to the farm, will take some proper measurements,- thanks for all your info

Has anyone got one of these and any reviews? Our MH arrived with an 18 in step to the hab area which is tricky for my Wife as she does have mobility issues. I was sure there was a folding down step as part of the spec
