Free overnight Parking

Anyone using the A1 there is free overnight parking 6 miles from the Blyth services.
Bawtry, Gainsborough road Sun Inn at Everton.
Michael, the landlord, and a proper chef will make you welcome, good food and beer.

... and if you have the time, carry on past the pub along the main road towards Gainsborough. Just out of the village, take the next right onto Old Gainsborough Road & follow the road to Drakeholes, turning right again at the end to find the Chesterfield canal (& another pub) where it emerges from the tunnel under the road.

There is a nice circular walk eastwards along the canal, turning right to return through the village of Wiseton. Very pleasant early evening walk to work up an appetite!
