Because the public libraries are currently closed most counties are letting you have digital Editions free. You need to input your library card number to the RB Digital website.
In West Sussex there are over 350 current magazines you can download.I have just been reading the July edition of Practical Motorhome available today. There are interesting articles on Normandy Invasion Beaches, recipes to cook in the van,and a comprehensive buyers guide to van conversions.I get an email when a new edition of my selected magazines arrives.

You can also use Libby. Again, just need to download the app and enter your library card details.

Im sure they will let us back in eventually, But nothing like being prepared

I prefer real books especially in the evening when I like to give my eyes a rest from phone, tablet etc. But I've been using this app for a short while as charity shops are closed so my cheap book source has dried up. Many books seem to have a waiting list which I don't really understand as they're digital? I'm #65 on the list for one I chose
Good for magazines though.

Its to do with licencing ie they may only buy a few copies of the book in digital format.

I am jealous - Brighton RB seems to have 145 magazines and no sign of Practical Motorhome!

The Readly app has a 2 months free trial and that has Practical Motorhome. For East Sussex Libraries there are far more title available via Press Reader which is under the newspaper link not the magazine link <Broken link removed>.

Thanks for the heads up. As a result of this thread i signed up but unable to use RB , taken a week to get the answdr back from rb and the library, both answered within 30min.
Now need to suss the appropriate app. I used to be a sharp knife but the edge seems to be getting a bit duller.

Thanks for this! I have just joined our library online, and await my library card which will give me access to the ebooks etc!

Your library service should email you your card number which is all you need.
