Hi All Steve here
Does anyone have a Frankia i740 and carry a scooter rack or Armitage side loading trailer.
We are considering a ktm 390 or 690 Duke R with a rack or a Honda 500x on the side loading trailer.
Just done CBT and theory and going to take Mod 1 and Mod 2 so will be able to ride any bikes with pillion.

Your choice of bike is varied but I can highly recommend the 690,been taking ours with us for 3 years now. Mine goes in the the garage of my Frankia i7900 though.

I have the 840 Platin Plus and carry one in the garage. I did look at all the available side loading racks and found nothing that would take 250kg so decided on the big payload model.

Sorry I should have given detail, the bike (or trike) I carry is the Piaggio 300 yourban and it weighs in at 238kg dry so I assumed it must be around 250 wet. I met an elderly biker at derwent water who let me loose on his 14 year old BMW 1200 tourer and it felt so much lighter than my trike even though it weighed in at 230kg.

I'm seriously thinking of taking my test and running something around 180 kg, I have seen many between £7k and £10k.
