Afternoon everyone, I'm planning a trip thru France into Spain early April. Thinking of the route from Irun to Seville via Valladolid/Salamanca.
If anyone has any thoughts/suggestions en route I'd be pleased to hear them. No specific time restraints(within a ten week period total).
Many thanks.

fill up with diesel at irun

Don’t rush by these cities they are all different and so much to see and enjoy.. look out for Aire/Camperstops in or near them that are available.

Tordesillas at Easter is fantastic. It's a non-touristy, characterful town, and the Easter processions are so interesting - quite somber, but very atmospheric.
There's a campsite there, but people were also overnighting on the riverbank near the campsite, when we were there.

Morning pagey, littlewheels, bellabee and 599, certainly intend to take time to explore as much as poss so thanks all for the great info.
Hoping for a lot of warm sunshine by the time I reach Seville instead of the dark dreary cold mornings I'm used to here!, Cheers all.

You have chosen a great time to visit Spain and enjoy the weather and culture...

hi guys . the other thing you could think about buying is the m/way bip &drive if you venture into Portugal now they have put up toll gantries ( m/ways in Portugal was free once ) . its also covers you for Spain but one of the m/way companys went bust so some are free for now .

Seville is also well worth a visit.

Thanks Maison, yes Seville is certainly on the list.
Are most Spanish cities accessible in motorhomes?, Or is it advisable to park up on the outskirts and use local transport??.

We tended to use local transport for visiting the cities but were quite prepared to use the motorhome as a “sightseeing bus” by driving around the sites too.
