In conversation with the owner of a 2021 Transit based MH earlier. He didn't realise that all Transits now have built in MIFI and using the Fordpass app you can track the vehicle. Which then lead to a conversation about insurance. When I insured our van with LV they didn't require a tracker as the value was below £60k, but when I said it had the Ford tracker but it was not monitored, they said "no problem as long as you can tell us where the vehicle is if it's stolen".
Does anyone know if any of the insurance companies that require a tracker accept unmonitored trackers?
