Did my monthly 50 miles yesterday and passed many police vehicles. No problems. It possibly depends if they have other business to keep them busy.

Travellers have rarely been concerned about Rules in non-Covid times.
The police could move them on to travel again but to where?
Local authorities in my area request that the police do not impound their vehicles since they would then be homeless and the authority would be obliged by law to house them.

They appear every few weeks in or around the location I posted. every time they leave piles of litter including human excrement, soiled nappies etc. They have also camped on village greens, sports fields, church gounds in the area. I think we are a soft touch around here.
