Though the ied prevalence may have blown things out of all proportion ... It also explains why Afghan women continue to walk 10 paces behind their husbands ...

The whole Afghanistan affair was a complete and total disaster.

I feel so very sorry for everyone of the brave young soldiers, their families and friends who died or were wounded over there.

Sent by clueless, corrupt politicians for goodness knows what.

Billions of pounds and dollars thrown away.

Blair and Bush... war criminals.

In a couple of months time it will be back to where it was 20 years ago with the Taliban in charge of most of the country.

What did all that misery, death and destruction achieve?

More money for the arms manufacturers and their shareholders.
