Food into Spain

Has anyone been checked for taking food into Spain at ferry ports?

Think they have food there lol

If I come over to the UK apart from french stuff son wants no food for me .
Big treat is to go round Tesco and buy all the stuff I had forgotten existed lol

Likewise whatever country we visit .
