It’s gone!!😢
Exp
4 years….
We are off on the tunnel later on next week and for a change have decided to travel down late afternoon and then get an early shuttle over.
Have done a search but nothing much comes up so would be grateful for any parking suggestions for 1 night please.

We always use Canterbury P&R at Dover Road. The Old Gate Inn, just over the road, is good for a meal and a relaxing Evening before travelling.

About a 20-25 minute journey to the tunnel Terminal next morning.

We’re at Canterbury p&r now and catching a shuttle tomorrow morning.
We used to park behind the Morrisons at Folkestone sports club but heard they’d started closing the gates at night and we usually have a really early train. Had read lots of recommendations for this P&r so we started coming here.
Plus there’s the advantage of being able to explore Canterbury if one has time.

Awful place, tried it once, never again.

The car park was busy and we only just squeezed in because of needing to leave access to the caravan park behind.
It was Sunday evening and they weren’t doing food but we hadn’t got anything in the van because we expected to eat there.
The toilets were filthy.

It was a couple of years ago now so much may have changed.

Hi, coastal, try the airport cafe, plenty of space and a cracking breakfast. On the A20. 1 stop from Eurotunnel turning.

The Valient Sailor had changed hands recently, been updated and you have to call.to book a space there now. Saying that we've not eaten there.

There's no airport, it's on the A20 near M20 junction 11. Great breakfast venue buy noisy with trucks coming and going at all hours.
