I have a Thetford c250 cassette toilet which suddenly started flushing without pressing the button . Luckily I switched the pump off before it overflowed. It now seems to work OK but I'm concerned that there could be a flood . Has anybody else had this problem ?
What is the fix?

You might have a ghost using your loo while your back’s turned. Or,you might have a faulty switch. :giggle:

Copy of my post #7 in "trickling toilet flush":

Happened to me a couple of years ago. Diagnosed as grit in the solenoid valve preventing the valve from fully closing.

You could try operating the flush numerous times to dislodge the debris.

I cleared mine by applying compressed air into the cold water system whilst operating the flush. In my case, this was accomplished by using the Floe Drain Down system (which I already had installed).
