Hi, Can anyone offer any help or advice please. I was having problems with the Flojet pump on our Swift Bolero (2009). After pressurising the system it wouldn't turn off, but continued to buzz away gently all the time which it didn't previously do. I was told the best thing thing to do was to change the pump. We are off to Spain in a few days for 6 weeks and didn't want the pump packing up on our trip. I ordered a new Flojet pump from Johnscross Motorhomes which arrived this morning. When I unpacked it I found one of the blue snap on clips broken off so I took one off the old pump, which seems ok. I refilled the system with water, turned the pump on and opened the taps as per usual after our winter drain down, but the pump keeps going permanently and just a splutter from the taps. I left the pump running for 15 mins in case of an air lock in the system but no change. No pressure at the taps at all. Could there be an air lock somewhere in the system?, never had a problem before after winterising. No leaks apparent anywhere in the system. The hot water/boiler heater tank seems to be 'gurgling" away which I have noticed before. I'm wondering if the new pump may be faulty. Any suggestions, or how can I get rid of a major air lock (which I've never had before with the old pump).

have you checked to see the overflow from your water heater is shut water could be running out under your van its worth a look

Hi, us already checked that. Heater drain down ap is closed and system full of water. It just seems the new pump won’t prime the system for some reason. There are visible leaks anywhere in the system.

Sorry, I meant to say there are no signs of any leaks in the system. I do not understand why the water heater is making strange 'gurrgling' noises when the pump is on. It sounds like it got air bubbles inside?
But no water pressure at taps, and new pump just keeps running and doing nothing. It's a pain in the ar**, as I may have to drive 60 miles to Dolphin Motorhomes in Southampton for some help.
