Can you fix stupid?

Methinks it's Johnny Foreigner at the wheel. I hope he enjoyed the rest of his holiday, 'cos this sure must have put a dampener on it!

I presume they have tried to reverse down there as if they were travelling forward, the wing mirrors folding in two would have been too big a clue that it was tight for space.

My wife has been trying to "fix stupid" for nearly Forty years.

She hasn't succeeded yet :D:rolleyes:

Was this a tactic of the Ship Inn :p

Cannot see what the problem is he has bags of room. Just got to fold the mirrors in. He just has to hope he doesn’t meet someone coming the other way then he would really be in trouble.

I bet his Wife was driving and for years he'd told her 3 inches was actually 6!!

That's in Fowey, when I was a kid 60 years ago that was 2 way!!! And it gets tighter further on!

You gotta follow your sat-nav instructions - IT'S THE LAW!!

I too remember that road 60 years ago. Someone drove down the side of my dads Austin a40 then drove off without stopping.

I got into a fix like that in my car in a little village in the Italian Lakes.

I was following the sat nav as you do and it took me into this village with really narrow bendy streets.

I got stuck and half the village came out to look/laugh at me. They are nice people there though and with lots of shouting and arm waving I was on my way again after about 30 minutes of sweat and swear words.

If you can't get your Motorhome through a big gap like that, did ought to be driving one.

I drove into a small Spanish village a few years ago. I was so busy avoiding parked cars on narrow street l almost missed the balconies trying to take tge roof off.

I saw that clip on Facebook the other day

I wanted to laugh but couldn't as I've nearly been in that situation twice now in spain because of no signs and a stupid satnav

In cartagena the police had to stop the traffic and escort me the wrong way up a one way street because there was no way I was fitting through the narrow street

I am really glad Sprinters are narrower than the usual width of van except the mirrors that is,, if they go through everything else will with clearance.
