Good morning All

Please can someone help.

I have seen somewhere on the' tinter-click some instructions on fitting a leisure battery under the bonnet of a Renault traffic Mk1 T1100.

This involved turning the van battery through 90 degrees and modifying the battery tray and holding bracket and fitting the leisure battery next to it.

Since then been unable to find again and I am interested in having a go.

Can anyone advise if they have done this and can they give me details etc.

Cheers in advance

I'm not sure if the battery trays are the same size on the t1100 and the t1000 or not, but I was able to fit a 75AH leisure battery next to the starter battery on my t1000 as below:

That was done as part of charlotte's 12v overhaul, which you can find more about here. The leisure battery is held in place by a ratchet strap and all the red wires etc are the new split charge system I fitted.

That reminds me... I never did finish posting the solar panel install story :(

Anyway, hope that is of some help to you.

Colin.
