Does anyone know if it is possible to turn a skylight round sideways? Any fixes out there to prevent rain getting in ?

You mean on the side of the van or so it is on the roof but hinges sided to side instead of front to back?

If you are talking of fitting on the side then it would stick out a good few inches !

Only problem I can think of is that it would ruin the streamlining of the vent and possibly make it easier to become detached by the wind when travelling at speed.

That's only my opinion though, and I'm no expert!

U can get a fiamma roof spoiler to divert the driven rain over the top.
There are vented and unvented rooflights the latter has a better seal.

They can be fitted either way. Only thing you have to make sure if fitted side ways is that it's shut before driving off. If fitted front to back it would simply blow shut if driven off (y)

I had a 2012 Bailey 740. The main roof vent in the lounge was fitted sideways, had no issues with it.

Our Bailey caravan had the big one over the lounge fitted sideways. might have been fitted by the same bloke. Bob
