Been looking at getting a fitted sheet for our van. It's a fixed bed with an angled cutout at the bottom.
I've found a couple of places that do them, but at £30+ with a 28 day delivery, they don't seem a very good deal..
Can anyone recommend a company that can make one about 24 days quicker?
Otherwise Mrs A is threatening to get her sewing machine out and do one herself!

Jersey fitted sheet . Fits perfectly and cheap . Amazon or E Bay

Lidl had them too last week and at £4.99 for king size were a bargain.

we used this place when we had a caravan, they seemed to have massive range of all sorts of shapes / sizes

we now use a duvet in a cover under us and another on top for comfort and ease of fitting (y)

I think that if you have a go at making one out of an old sheet, there will be nothing to lose. If it proves too difficult, little has been lost. If it works out, you have a sheet in a very short time. the knowledge of how to do it again and finally a model to work from.
We don't care, we just tuck a normal sheet under a bit tighter; it works for us.

We use an ordinary double one and just tuck it well in under the cut corner. No problem at all.
Tesco £5 if I remember rightly.

I think Mrs A has made the decision to make one. We have a load of normal fitted sheets so I am sure she can get one adapted to fit.

We use ordinary fitted sheets. The elastic is strong enough to pull the extra material into the corner if you just lift that end of the mattress.

Bit late replying friend got one from greens of Bournemouth online £27 delivered next day. We use ordinary(y) fitteds

If you find a normal fitted sheet isn't quite right they are very easy to adapt.

Or try this idea!

Only in America would they use "mens suspenders" I'm pretty sure you can get standard size sheets with different depths, we had to get one for our new mattress at home.
Greens of bournemouth look good, thanks parknride, I might give them a call to see if they can make a mattress protector for us. I think Mrs A has the sewing machine out upstairs and a couple of bedsheets seem to have been "adjusted" all ready for stitching up

jonic also do mattress protectors [see post 5 above] but as Mrs A is competent with her sewing machine you can save yourself a bit of cash and get the items on time
