Here we are at another free one, thanks to park4night, hasn't been verified yet but I have just put a comment on so might be now , no services but quiet and lake across the road.

Don't forget, The carrefour at cite Europe is closed on Sundays, incase you were thinking of increasing your overall weight by a last minute shop(y)

Lovely night ...... eight other vans. Free if you don’t need water. Back through the tunnel tomorrow for us. Another great trip coming to an end :rolleyes:

That's a good idea, especially ones that aren't in the books and apps.

Absolutely,but within minutes of it being posted someone can’t wait to list it on the search apps.
and if it’s a free one it will never be the same again.
Take France Passion people are constantly listing FP locations as free stops on S4S , CC, etc etc so before long the FP facility will be ruined.
Posters have promoted on this Forum that you don’t need to join FP the owners don’t ask to see your card or are relaxed about people staying since they might make a sale and that’s probably the main reason it will fail,how can FP survive and addd new locations if they are abused by the ( you know who they are)

Doesn't any of the apps like s4s cc and p4n all suffer the same possibility as does Brit stops but as you say the companies wont care how you found them.
As an example we stopped at a pub coming home from Ireland the landlord asked if we wanted to stay the night as we had eaten there and explained he was part of the brit stop I told him I wasn't a member and he said no matter you've spent money so if you want to stay you can

The likes of France Passion is different they have infrastructure and staff that work toward increasing the stops on offer,they are not merely fed stops by people’s adding them ad hoc.
Brit Stops May be similar I don’t know as I’ve never used them,however,if every pub/ stop ignores Britstops rules eventually something will have to give.

Brit stops is on France passion web site as a recommended British equivalent of them selves, I maybe an old cynic but i believe all these app company's make money one way or another probably through advertising based on number of hits the site gets and charges to business they recommend and their 30 euro members charge as in all competition the best will survive and the rest will sink without trace.

Been on 3 passion sites this time, I am a member, got them off p4n though, never saw anyone at any of them. Nothing for sale, nowt.
