im a newbie
My Fiat Ducato chassis is due for its first service in a few weeks so thought I would check Fiat Camper for any recalls and it came back with a recall so spoke to Fiat Camper Italy and it is brake lines so spoke to Fiat professional and they say that is correct and only released a couple of weeks ago and letters will be sent out or suppose to be .

Might be worth checking .

Same with Boxers and Relays

The check literally takes about 5 minutes.

It’s not showing on the .gov site for your year yet

Oh no, not another recall. If it isn't urgent I will wait until the next annual service appointment.

But thanks for the heads-up.

got a call from Fiat professional today re a warranty issue I had. They confirmed the brake hose recall & suggests that we book it in before the letters arrive

Do you know what years the recall relates to?

The recall number is 6255 but I still can’t find it anywhere online

I checked no new recalls for our 2018 model.
I have just checked for mine and there is on myCamper "Important: a recall campaign is currently underway. Please contact your local authorised dealership as soon as possible for a free inspection. "

Just spoke to our dealer about our 2019 model. Yes there is a recall, they need to check a clip on one of the brake lines. Initially an inspection and photo, which they send to Fiat for confirmation.

Seems to be chassis # ZFA25000002G/H/J*****?

My new Burstner is in that group but I can't see it in the full list published. I am checking with the dealer. Thanks for the info from the OP.

Is that applicable to those supplied to the UK as it appears to be an Australian site so they may have different numbering for their vehicles?

They're all made in Italy, and the makeup of the VIN conforms to the same standard no matter where they end up. My 2016 van is ZFA25000002B--- ;)

But that relates to the Throttle Body recall from May 2018, which is the latest Ducato recall shown on that site, unless I'm looking in the wrong place?

Here’s the whole link it’s the only one I can find for fiat Ducato other than Gov.uk.

The latest recall does not appear to have reached the Government site yet but it is on the Fiat system available to Fiat Professional Garages.

It was a recent recall, but not the latest, which concerns a brake hose/clip as far as I'm aware.

Shows a recall for ours doesnt say what for... says contact dealer

How funny, I’ve just spotted this thread. I started one today about our van that we are due to pick up on Thursday. It’s a brand new IH and Nick found it. Ours is the brake hose clip apparently. We were in a bit of a panic not being the least bit technical as we are due to go to Spain on the 20th October. We are hoping that they can get it checked at the Fiat Professional near them who supplied the van as we don’t have one near us and the last time we had warranty work done we had a long wait and ended up having to go to Southampton as the Bournemouth place wasnt doing Aircon. The brake clip one isn’t on the Gov website yet apparently.

Wish I’d seen it before starting another but I did get some reassuring advice.

The recall check was done on my Motorhome today, all OK. They are looking for a clip on the two lines running from the brake master cylinder. If the clip is missing or badly fitted the two lines can rub together and eventually fail.
