I have a pvc on a 2014 Fiat Ducato. The van is a basic van with no extras, as a result there is no aux facility for the playing of music from a usb memory stick, nor blue tooth. On other models these are factory fitted.

My question - is it possible to add this facility and if so how easy is it to fit

it is easy enough but involves changing the radio/head unit

I bought one like this just for the USB port and to be able to use a 1gb micro stick full of my music.
Works a treat and unbeknown to me its a hands phone free kit if you buy and wire in a microphone.
Bargain.

I have a 128GB memory stick with music and movies connected to my Kenwood double din. Its really good.

Ours is a 2014 and it has a factory fitted USB socket in the centre glove box, but it’s almost hidden !

I was convinced that we had no usb connection, until I was told to search in the glove box, it was difficult to find.

As said above unless there's an existing USB socket on the head unit it will be a swap out for a different unit.
The one linked to by Stealaway is just along the road from you in Kirkcaldy.
I swapped out our woeful 13ELE2000 unit (double din) in our motorhome and it was fairly straight forward with the only "non-plug and play" being the permanent live running directly from the leisure battery. I also had to get a fascia kit to match the unit into the fascia.

The large central bin beneath the central control units. Open it and feel tight at the back . A torch and lying on the floor of the cab might help.
