Fiat Ducato faulty display ?

Anyone else got this problem ?
The outside temperature display on my dashboard was reading -2 C this morning at 11:30 am when the outside was more like 23 ! Even after driving a few miles and the day had reached mega hot , my display was still reading 13 degrees. Now we’re back on site and it’s reading 4 degrees whilst the Autotrail fitted Sargent unit is saying 25.5 C
Any suggestions?

Probably the sensor, if it's a standard Ducato I think it's in one of the door mirtor housing.

New sensor required, shouldn't be too expensive even from the dealers. ?

I had this. Temp range between. -56 and + 65. Sorted after a software reset.

Yes when sensors fail they usually go off the scale so the readout is LLL or HHH... Or sometimes - - -

Think you’ll find it’s the o/s mirror with right hand drive (uk) n/s has the radio aerials.
Look for the small dome under the mirror.
