I have a recent problem with the central locking on my 2008 Fiat Ducato. Basically after using the fob to lock all doors, the fob does not unlock the drivers or passenger door although habitation door works as it should.
The cab doors do open it i use the key but after closing them they will not re open. The cab doors also open from inside but once closed will not re open from outside. Hope this makes sense. Any ideas appreciated.

Can you try locking them using the central locking from inside (The padlock) button. Lock then unlock and it might get clear. Failing that try putting key in ignition then opening and closing drivers door. Used to work for me.

Had a problem about 4 years ago, turned out to be the wiring on the Hab door, took it to a local garage that specialised in motor electrics who fixed it quite easily and reasonably cheaply.

When I had that problem I found unlocking/locking with the key in the door sorted it out.

Key fob battery? Depleted batteries can throw up all sorts of faults.

Thanks to all of the above for your advice, I have tried all options but the drivers /passenger doors are still not opening using the fob. Its not a major problem as I can still open the cab doors using the key. Possibly when the vehicle is serviced they might be able to check the fob / electrics for faults. Anyway thanks for your help
