Fiat Ducato Caricoa 635.. Fridge on 12 V as stopped working and lesuire battery not charging. Anyone in Cumbria to fix it? Or advise me ? I cant seem to find the fuse that carrys the d+ signal as i have been told it might be this or a relay issue (again cant find relay location)

Hi and welcome

The relay is likely in the pillar behind and to the right of the drivers seat RHD.
The fuse could be in a couple of places but try the large fuses on top of the main cab battery first.

Thanks for your reply. That will be them soldered to the circuit board? I have found a thick cable coming from the engine. with 3 cables in. 1 is black 2 are red. The end red when I start the van the voltage goes up to 14v or so, so the alternator is working. The middle red cable as no voltage at all with the engine off or on. this cable connects into that pillar box with the circuit board in. The fuses on the battery (4 of them inside a black box all pass and work)

Again thanks for your reply.

Ok. Can you trace the red that has no voltage to see where it goes from either end. Easier with a wiring diagram but I am sitting in the shade next to the van with a small beer after lunch and any diagrams I may have are many miles away.

Thanks you mate for giving advice over here. I did as you said and traced the wire back to a fuse board where the local garage had left a big black connector off the board. Reconnected it and problem solved. Thanks again.

For anyhow with this issue.... The big battery wire under the drivers seat didn't have any voltage on the centre pin. (there's 3 wires in a connector. Big thick wires) 1 was live all the time from the engine battery the other in the middle also red was dead and the black negative, Traced the cable back to the Fuse box on the drivers front dash board side of the van (right hand drive) there was a big black connector hidden inside the dash from when the garage done some work on the suspension. Connected this back up and it worked fine.

Hope this helps some one.
Cheers
