Fiat Ducato 2010 wing mirror gator replacement

Hi all,

I’m struggling to find a replacement gator that fits behind the wing mirror glass and protects the wires for the motor. This is my old one that has perished, I’m not sure what it’s called to search for a replacement

Is there anything on ebay?
 
Sadly not, it appears that Fiat don’t make the rubber available on it’s own, the only way to get a replacement is to buy a whole new mirror. So next time I catch a van going up a hill on a tiny lane in Cornwall and smash the glass, I’ll buy the whole mirror rather than just the glass, which is how all this started.

After replacing our smashed long arm Ducato mirror about a year ago, and having traded in the vehicle it was fitted to about a month ago, we took the smashed one to the recycling centre last week after a garage clear out! Never thought anybody on here would want it!:swear2::crying:

Hey, Don’t worry, ours are medium arm so wouldn’t have fitted anyway. I know they are medium arms because I ordered replacements and I ordered long arm plastic covers for the arm 🤦‍♂️ 😥
But I suppose there is always a market for old parts
