I'm sure the only reason Fiat have specified 0 - 30 grade oil is to reduce emissions by 0.0005% at initial start up from cold.
Not because of the design of the engines

I buy all my oils and filters from Opie oils. They will tell you all the spec you need, do great prices, and deliver to your door.

i second Shop4parts as good source for Selenia WR 5 .. 30, good price
But Shop4parts do not stock or sell 0w/30 WR Forward - I know because I asked them.
The price may be good, but the oil is wrong.
MANNOL 7717 0w 30 meets fiat spec
<Broken link removed>
Well it meets Mercedes Benz's requirements which may or may not be the same as Fiat's.
I can't see where it says it meets Fiat DS-1 spec.

Just had van serviced at my dealers, who are Fiat Approved, Oil, all filters wet & dry, plus brake fluid and MOT.
Whilst I was kicking my heels waiting, I took a stroll around the rear of the workshop, to find 3 empty 45 Gallon (or equivalent) Shell Helix Ultra empty oil drums...Ah ha I thought, it obviously must meet the Fiat Standard, and is probably half the price of The Petronas stuff.
That what I shall be looking at getting for my 1 ltr top up when needed.

PS: Just found this link listing oils that meet The Fiat DS-1 spec, hope that helps.
