Hello there !

I'm looking for a cover for my bike and carrier. I'v seen this model but it has bad reviews on Amazon

Amazon product ASIN B000Z6RAFM
I have seen this model cheaper elsewhere but I'm also looking at this model by Midland

Any advice or recommendations ?

Thanks !

The Fiamma has lots of bad reviews on here too. Interested in replies although ours will be offset.

We had one, rubbish. Try Bags4everything, been using one of theirs for five years, no holes, just a bit faded on top with the sunshine.

another supporter of the Fiamma bike covers as being expensive rubbish.

i use an Aldi small motorcycle cover,£6... which i have doctored ( cut a hole in the side big enough to allow the bike fixing arm to go through )
been an absolute dream so far about 12 months now; and at that price i am happy to chuck it when it gets shabby or worn.

We have a Fiamma 2 bike cover. Looks well made, but I had a real struggle to get it to cover 2 bikes, in fact, it was so difficult to get it to fit over the bikes, we didn’t use them for fear of having to get the cover back on again!

They don’t last long if you are in the sun as they soon get brittle and tear, Taylor made do a stronger one.

The Midland cover is a poor fit, and the straps terminate in rubber eyelets which tear out very quickly - I definitely won´t be buying another one!

Fiamma are rubbish, you'll be lucky if you get 12 months out of it. We had one made by a professional sailmaker in Liverpool. Cost £40. Had it for 6 years now and its still great. The maker said that the material has to be resistant to all the sunlight it receives so made it from really durable stuff. A great job and it has the see through transparent material square for the warning sign. I get loads of comments and questions about it when travelling.

OK, so a big NO NO to Fiamma and Midland. Here in Spain I don't have a lot of alternatives to these brands.

However ! I just found the Kampa cover on Amazon in Spain for 36 Euro which is probably a good price and the reviews are good too . I'd look into Taylor if I needed to spend more than this to get a great quality cover but I think it'll do.

Thanks for all your help.
