Interesting for those that use the brackets that fit the leg feet to the side of the van rather than on the ground where dog leads get tangled round them. Because they are plastic they become brittle in the sun and break easily. I have now found they do aluminium ones. I have a pair waiting for me at home when I return from Europe. Currently I only have one working one on the van.

Have you tried them and do they work ok?

I’m still debating with myself about getting them. I deffo don’t want to have the permanently attached brackets but I’ll give it few more weeks away to decide if I’d get much benefit compared to just using the standard/usual configuration.

I replaced the plastic ones with aluminium, much more confidence inspiring.

There are also ones that are suction attached to the side if the permanent ones don’t suit. These are about half the price of the Anker ones (also available on Amazon).

I made some myself much cheaper
