I am an electrical engineer but new to motor homes, I have a Burstner Solano with a 75Ah liesure battery, I would like to add another 75Ah in parallel, am I likely to have any problems with this? Would it be cheaper to just replace the 75Ah with a 150Ah?Eventually I want to fit solar panels but one step at a time.

I just done a weeks camping relying on just my solar for power, thats is at least 2hrs telly per day, water heater, lights, compressor fridge, phone charging , water pump etc, and my 250ah battery bank, and 130w solar panel coped perfectly , solar power in the spring summer and winter works for my system, i will be adding two more panels, to try and cope for the darker times of year though
