I am going to buy a new set of screens but Taylor, Silverscreens or VanComfort? I have looked at all 3 websites and would like the benefit of opinion from members. Is the only real difference in the cost?

We've got Silverscreens, work really well, as for the others I can't comment as we've never had them!

we have fiamma and it is great and much less price

We have Taylor made and they are perfect.

As you can see everybody has their own preference, it appears they all do what they say on the tin.

Silver screens all the way. Perfect fit and do the job. The drop down front with the mesh inner so you can see out , is a brilliant idea.

Just bought from Silver Screen. Not cheap, but highly recommended by many members on here. I ordered just before lunchtime and received the item mid morning the next day. Just used them on the weekend, Idiot proof(I need that), worked well.

We have Taylormade and they are very good.
The bottom of the screen covers the wiper/drain hole area of the van and prevents water pooling in there, and also stops leaves, twigs etc. from entering that area.
The front has a drop down part with mesh screen behind it, so it lets in the light and still retains privacy.
Nice and thick padding and the water just runs off.

Without having tried anything else, I would have to say, that with the Taylormade cover that we have now, we don't feel the need to.
Works fine for us.

I had taylor made on my previous van but bought Paragon silverscreens this time and personally I think Paragon are better.

We had a Paragon Silver Screen made to measure for our Rapido,:thumb: and went to Van Comfort for screen for the Concorde.

Paragon was a better fit and better made. Having said that the windscreen on the Concorde is half as big again as the Rapido's was. Have to fit the cover using step ladders:Rofl1:

Would'nt be without a thermal screen if you use your van all year:thumb:

Silverscreens for us, after seeing "Scousebirds"...
I'm impressed after having some "no name" internals on the last van.:thumb:

Thanks everyone, really useful responses.

I have decided to go with silverscreens.

All the best.

Taylor Made for our 91 Ducato, they have all but Eliminated condensation in the cab, and we camped in Sub zero temps in Holland with no problems. They hook over the cab door tops and have Velcro adjustment. The middle section can be unfastened to let light in. I have heard people say they prefer internal screens for wild camping in case they need to make a quick getaway where you might not want to get out of the van to remove external screens, but they work fine for our needs.

+1 for silver screens.. We collected ours.. Very well made and perfect fit

Screen cover

We have the extended Taylormade cover for our 2005 Ducato best bit of kit I have bought. Highly recommended.

We have this one as well, on a Ducato cab. Works well although I added some velcro at the bottom of the doors to stop the cover flapping in the wind.

You won't regret silver screens - really first class

Silverscreens do the job really well, can't fault them.

Of course not. You should know that what features are more important to you
