External Thermal Screens question

Evening all,

Does anyone know, will Taylormade (or other) screens made for a Ducato with Remis blinds, fit a Ducato without Remis blinds and if so what issues might there be?

Can't see a problem, the Taylormade screen I have fits on the outside of the screen and my Remis blinds are inside!

Thanks boxtraveller. I thought it had something to do with the way they are fitted to the door. I think doors with remis blinds are deeper (in thickness) so maybe the corner flaps on the cover which fit over the door corner are larger and may not fit doors without Remis....but I dont know, hence the question.

I cannot comment on Taylormade, but I do know that Silverscreens asks you if you have Remis blinds fitted when you make your order, so that they can supply the version to suit.

Well we bought our Taylormade's in 2013 for an Elddis 165 without Remis blinds and since then have a had a soggy Autotrail with Remis blinds and now a PVC again with Remis blinds and that same pair fit as well as ever on all three vans, so I don't think you need to worry.

The pockets in the Taylormade cover (that fit over the corner of the door to secure the Taylormade cover in place) are wide enough to cover the Remis blind housing fitted on the inside of the doors.

Our Taylormade thermal screen cover has a velcro on the door pocket so you adjust the pocket so it can used on either Remis or non Remis.
