Extended Warranty

Has anyone used Warrantywise for extending their motorhome warranty?
It looks quite good but then that's their marketing expertise and I know people avoid extended warranties like the plague as I do on everything else.
I would like some peace of mind when going abroad as you don't really know who would be your repairer.

Has anyone bought an extended warranty for their van after expiration of the manufacturers warranty from any company?

A bit of sensible advice is that the extended warranties are a money spinner for the dealer and the vast majority of items you would think should be covered are excluded. Keep the van maintained and the money you would spend in an account to help cover cost of repairs. Breakdown cover is far more appropriate, and I say that despite the downright appalling way the RAC treated me recently

We took 3 years extra from Fiat. Had to have a new wing mirror and temperature sensor which bought us to pretty well break even so far.
