Eurotunnel & Tesco Vouchers

I believe some funsters have been doing this for many years..

How it works

1. Check the Eurotunnel Le Shuttle wesbite for prices.
2. Select the amount of Clubcard vouchers you'd like to exchange. You can top-up the price difference with another payment method when you make your booking. Remember, there's no money back for overpayment using a Reward Partner code.
3. When you've completed your order look out for a confirmation email. A second email containing your Partner code will arrive shortly after.
4. If you placed your order in the app, your code will appear in the 'My Rewards' section within 15 minutes, you will also receive the emails.
Please note: these codes may take longer to arrive due to additional security checks.
5. Log into or create a My Eurotunnel account, and enter your Reward Partner Code when booking just before your payment details. Alternatively call Eurotunnel on 0344 8797088 and Quote “TESCO”. You will need to quote your Reward Partner Code to make your booking.

We had a property in France for 16 years and always used Tesco vouchers. Our best deal was a £308 return that only cost us the £8 remaining after using our vouchers.

It should be much easier and cheaper now to book direct.
You used to have to ring a premium price phone number to use your vouchers.

You can also use your Tesco vouchers on-line if you have an account with them. Very easy to set up.

Never used the premium number; always used the landline number: 01303 282061.

I will use Tesco this year. My only hesitation is you can’t use them for a Standard Refundable ticket, only the standard - so if things go belly up we could lose the value.

On a plus I was looking for a very small cast iron casserole to for in a wee stove - just got one from Denby using vouchers - total cost £4.95 P&P.

we booked with Tesco vouchers for 2 week jaunt over Xmas and new year- paid about £8.00 to top up - changed crossing in November as looking like we would not be able to go re covid. Cost about £20 to change to Feb half term ( still looking like we won’t be able to go then either to be honest😢😢😢) wasn’t sure we could change but no problem …

We have a Tesco voucher crossing booked with Eurotunnel that has now been moved 5 times, originally being for January 2021.

We were due to go on 29th December but decided that we didn’t want to because of the COVID travel restrictions. On ringing the tunnel in order to move it again we were told that we couldn’t move it beyond January 15th as that was the end of a year from booking and it was our own decision not to travel. . We decided to leave things as they were.

On 23rd December we rang them again following France introducing “Essential Travel only”. They accepted that it wasn’t our fault now that we couldn’t travel and have moved the booking to 1st February as “a holding action”. If France sticks to ETO we can move it again until the restriction is lifted.

Pretty good Customer Service I think.
