Had a very easy run down, two hours early for tunnel, every motorhome parking space is full, and I mean there is more than one in some ,never seen anything like it.
Havnt got an earlier train but the one we are booked on is allegedly on time (y)

Virtually the same last Friday when we came across, us and 4 vans in front ended up on the next train.

We are also in the car park !! Though it's showing a one hour delay for high sided vehicles !!
Time for a coffee and then a bit of duty free methinks

We parked at the end of a row , within ten minutes the ones either side moved
Love this old ambulance (y)
Just having a bit of diner now but looking around there must be some sort of holdup, as we are letter h but they are parked up right back to d.

They are still coming, none gone as I can see.

The bright yellow one with the funster wheel cover?

Just picked up yet another bottle of Stolicha vodka - got to subsidise the trip somehow now there aren't any frequent traveller wallets!!

Can you not just put the Blues & Two's on then jump up the queue a bit, the French wouldn't even think about doing it.:giggle:
Have great trip everyone, post some piccies when you can.

Came across on the 31st Aug in the high carriages only us two other Motorhomes & a van

But the curse of the dreaded queue around the next bend has caught us up, it's worse than Disney at times, just when you think you're making progress and nearly there, you go around the bend and realise just how far back in the queue you are!!

Mass exodus.....what's the panic, give the Lass a chance...cannot be any worse than Boris.... can she....🤔👍😄😄🥳
😆😆😆😆😆, she is going to try her hardest until she get sacked after the worst winter since 1945👍

Came across today from Coquelles on time late morning. No queues but no chance to board earlier

All the Silver Surfers heading off now the sprogs have gone back to School.
I've just come off the DFDS Newhaven website to book a crossing between now and 13th Sept and almost all of the crossings are booked up except the less popular midnight departures and the desirable 10 a.m. sailings but the 10 a.m. slots are now around £305 one way. Normally (out of the first wrinkly migration rush) the crossings are between about £90 and £160 (less 20% for me as I'm over 60 :giggle:............................).

Already looking at the baker Street menu as we queue (y) (y) (y)
Hope this isn't the first year in 12 that it's full on the aire.
Well after the last few years Chas I pray you have many more visits to gravelines, keep them wheels going round mate, keep thinking you’re still 21😉👍👍👍

Wasn't going to say we were going till I could put on, guess where we are , but the amount of vans waiting at the tunnel really took me by surprise, and thought I had to share.
